CONTRACTED RECYCLING UNITS

The modern trend in the sector of Alternative Waste Management aims at the exploitation of the waste in order to produce new, secondary materials appropriate for exploitation. This procedure takes place in the specialized facilities of the modern Units of Waste Recycling (SSED).

The waste constitutes potential useful materials which offer multiple benefits, as they can replace the corresponding fresh raw materials that are excavated – mostly – from quarries, an activity that causes serious environmental damage.

The company DIAS Recycling System of SSED provides comprehensive services of alternative management of SSED in the prefectures of Heraklion and Lassithi, in cooperation with licenced Recycling Units of SSED, as well as with the liable administrators of construction projects.

The licenced management Units of SSED have the necessary facilities and the required advanced technological equipment for the secure and credible waste management. With specialized staff possessing high expertise, they implement contemporary techniques in the waste management, accomplishing the immediate waste management and sorting and therefore achieving the system’s aims.
